   My story begins in Kingston, Jamaica, where I learned early that determination, adaptability, and perseverance can transform even the most ambitious dreams into reality. At the age of 14, I immigrated to Los Angeles, California, carrying little more than hope, curiosity, and a vision for a future filled with opportunity. That journey shaped not only who I am but also the values that define Roosevelt & West today: integrity, resilience, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.

  Education became one of the foundations of my journey. Driven by a passion for business and leadership, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business from Marymount California University in approximately 3.5 years, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands in just twelve months. These accomplishments reflect a belief that growth is not limited by circumstance but fueled by discipline, focus, and a willingness to embrace challenges.

   Today, I reside in Leander, Texas, where I continue to build upon that vision as a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) and IRS Authorized E-File Provider. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in both for-profit and nonprofit accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and business advisory services. My professional focus extends beyond numbers alone—I believe accounting is one of the most powerful tools available to business owners, providing the clarity needed to make informed decisions, build sustainable growth, and create lasting success.

   Beyond the world of accounting, I am also a published author and creative fantasy writer. Storytelling has always been a passion of mine, allowing me to explore imagination, possibility, and the human experience through a different lens. While accounting and writing may seem worlds apart, both are centered on creating something meaningful—whether it is a compelling story or a stronger financial future for a client.

   My long-term goal is to continue advancing as a leader in accounting and financial management while pursuing my CPA license and expanding the impact of Roosevelt & West. Every chapter of my journey—from Kingston to California, from student to entrepreneur, and from author to advisor—has reinforced a simple belief: success is not defined by where you begin but by the courage to pursue what is possible.
